Fixing It

Sometimes we don’t get it right. I like to say that good customer service isn’t about being flawless; it’s about how you react when you make a mistake. I can assure you that we all make mistakes, and I’m not about to stop trying new stuff in a futile attempt to bring my mistake count to 0. That said, I appreciate it when y’all let me know that we’ve made a mistake – and I hope y’all can tell that I try aggressively to remedy those.

This WOD is a great example: last time it was… ambitious, particularly for the time domain we had in mind. This time, we’re fixing it.

Look up your last experience with this guy, see how you scaled it, and see if you can get after it more aggressively. As with most everything, there’s technique that can make a lot of difference in how effective you are – so listen to your coaches, get your hips down below your shoulders, and keep your feet moving.

Holy shitballs, that was hard! But it’s now 8AM and I’ve gotten my workout in for the day, so I’m feeling like a million bucks. Nick, I’m amazed and impressed that you managed to fit so much coaching into a 60-minute time span. Two skills (including Turkish get-ups in the warmup), a long-ish WOD, and a cool down. Thanks!

    62# for the presses
WOD: 12:50 RX (20″ box). I had to resort to step-ups for the second half since my legs were about to give out.

Great job, 5:30 crew. Have a great day, everyone!
