Different angles
In another 5 weeks, we’ll be hitting this cycle’s benchmark again to see if we made progress. Â This progress can come from a number of different places, the main one (in my opinion) is consistency. Â Today however, we’ll be doing a WOD that will help us improve specific things that are directly related to it. Â We’ll be running, but the distance of each run will be a little longer giving us more time to settle in to our form and push our pace. Â We’ll be doing box jumps, only a little higher than we need for the benchmark to help the standard height feel more manageable. Â And we’ll be doing thrusters, which in general make wall balls feel much easier by comparison. Â So while you’re getting after the workout today, picture how the benchmark felt and how the movements translate.
