    deadlift: 305#, definitely a PR
wod: 11:35, with blue band pistols

  2. Cal says:

DL: 165#, which actually for the first time didn’t feel like my back was doing the majority of the work. i’m not sure if this is a PR, i think for 3 it might be.

WOD: 14:18 Rx. That was a silent assassin of a workout. Much more difficult than I thought! I liked it though.

  3. Jen G. says:

DL: 215# Probably a 3-rep PR. Haven’t regular deadlifted in a while, especially for 3.
    WOD: 13:22 Rx
Nothing like getting off the rower and realizing you can’t balance on one leg, let alone squat…

    • Cal says:

hahaha yeah, my first two pistols were no reps big time. i had my hands on the ground. that was a real shocker! i had a difficult time transitioning to power cleans, too!

This is gonna be a beast. Can’t wait.

I loved seeing good form out of you morning DeadLifters, and congratulations to all of you earning spots as Selectmen (Aldermen? City Councillors? What do they have up here?) of PR City. (Population: You.)

Hey, did you know we have a Twitter account? Follow us @CFSVille – and get the behind the scenes look at what JT and Yosh don’t even put on the Facebook page. Also, our new running series #thediff, chronicling the differences between Yosh and JT. ;D

  6. Nick says:

JT, i feel like you would not have felt great about my form tonight, but I did pull 375# for 3 (which was my 1 rep max a little over a month ago) and 405# for 1. My back definitely rounded on that last one…

12:35 Rx on the WOD. As usual, it was awesome throwing down with you Brian. Having someone to chase/ get chased by on a regular basis with make this newfitter challenge seem like a walk in the park.

  7. Brian says:

Deadlift: 315# for 3, 325# for 2 (lost the grip at the top of the second one). Just a couple months ago my 1 rep max was 305#, so I think I’m doing something right.

WOD: 12:40 with just a cheat plate under my heels for the pistols. Kettle bell swings really killed me on this one and allowed Nick to pass me heading into the squats. I think I made some ground back up once I got into my squats, but he finished when I had 4 left. So close. Thanks for the competition.

  8. Erin B says:

    deadlift- 235#x 3, 240# for 1

    WOD: 11:50
35# KB, 75# clean, knee push ups. (sad)
I can do more and more with my legs but still suffer tall big girl syndrome of not being able to do shit with my arms.

    Getting there.
