36.5 inch box jump.
wod: 5:46 (I think) rx. had to break up the push press a bit more than I anticipated. I’ll attribute it to my body still getting acclimated to being awake, never mind crossfitting, at this time.
max height box jumps are definitely NOT my favorite. 35″ up from about 33″
WOD: 6:27 Rx. some seriously slow burpees. i thought the push press was going to go better than it did – i think i would’ve been better off doing a really, really fast 5 at a time and then taking a second or two to catch my breath.
Box Jump: 44″ Those last 4 on top of 40″ really made a big difference.
WOD: 5:26 Rx. Cal, we’ve never met, but I took your advice to split the push presses up into sets of really fast 5 at a time once things were getting slow around 20. Totally helped to catch the breath and reset.
i missed max height box jumps the first time around, and i’ve been waiting for them to come back around. 48.5″, which i still have a hard time believing.
didn’t do quite so well on the wod, 9:09 rx. i’ll take it, though!
That’s just your motor still burning out early, Will. That will improve with time.
