thought i was coming at 530….but after wodding tonight my body says “sleep is more important”, and so i shall listen. sorry marcos (if you make it! which i bet you will because you are amazing!)
but… but… you’re still signed up… hope springs eternal…
(note to athletes: 8 hours of sleep is good for you. Go get some. Posting at 10:15pm about your 5:30am attendance should almost always begin and end with “no way”.)
wait really? I swear I pressed the cancel button before posting this! (cause i remember thinking “wow now there would have been 3 people…wonder who the other person would have been”
FS: 170#
WOD: 9:26 Rx
Finally able to string together power snatches unbroken for the whole WOD. Only had to rest with the bar in my “pockets” a couple of times to regrip.
Amazing how much tighter everything (hips, hammies, shoulders) is at 630 in the morning. Usually takes me 20 minutes of mobility to get loosened up for the evening class, and that’s after a day of (somewhat) moving around (although sitting at a desk most of the day isn’t good either). I could really use me some more mobility.
Question for the coaches: If I mobilize and loosen up in the evening, do I get any residual benefit first thing in the morning, or is it all lost during whatever horrible position I’m in while sleeping?
wod: 12:17 Rx. I stacked plates on top of the irrigation box til i got to 20″…i think trying to jump over the 20″ box would’ve been a long jumping disaster. also, hang power snatching is so awkward for me still.
That’s the best looking office ever. Srsly.
Big morning tomorrow! The 6:30am class is *fully booked* with 10 people… that’s a first! I’m excited.

i was curious about this jump over box, but i think i’ll live without.
I knew I saw this posted for yesterday!! And then I thought I must have dreamed it, which was oddly not surprising to me.
