Wounded Warrior Project
On September 22, 2012, the Boston Soldier Ride will take place to help benefit the Wounded Warrior Project. Soldier Ride is a unique four-day cycling opportunity for Wounded Warriors to use cycling and the bonds of service to overcome physical, mental, or emotional wounds. The rides are exhilarating and a great way to help warriors gain confidence and realize you can do this!
Volunteers are needed, and our own Jaime Bailey as well as Alicia Dunn, are participating at a few of the water stops along the course.
To learn more about Soldier Ride, you can visit:http://www.soldierride.org
If you want to volunteer, you’ll need to sign up with the Boston Warrior outpost here:https://mycarecrew.lotsahelpinghands.com/c/658503/login/?logout&language=en
If you have any questions feel free to ask!

“Can you see my thong?”
Meanwhile at Crossfit Somerville, Nick and Brian are getting ready for a quiet evening at the beach…
” THAT’S where you hid my Indigo Girls CDs?”
“Crossfitters LOVE tramp stamps!”
1. “Nick and Brian: Always getting proper depth”
2. Not a caption…just hoping Nick’s not planning on doing anything with that PVC
3. A new vocab word for you guys to throw around the gym: “Bro-bility”
I’m out.
“You got a tattoo!”
“What does my tattoo say?”
“Sweet!”
“What about mine?”
“Duuude!”

They sure put the “Press Here” button in a weird spot on the new Tickle-Me-Brian doll.
haaaaaaaa
Oh man. This is my favorite thing.
Really liked today.
95# on the splits… definitely the most I’ve ever gotten over my head.
WOD: 3 + 20 singles… 1 pd, 24″ box jumps (whoops), singles. I wish there had been 1 more minute in the AMRAP because I really wanted a clean 4 (first and last time I’ll ever say that).
And just like that, Brian was iced.
nick: “just bend over dude, it’s fine, no one is watching”
brian: “ugh, c’mon, not now!”
split: 105#. meh. i’m going backwards in my overhead ability.
wod: i tested out one of the wods from the garage games at new england next weekend. 25 back squats at 115# and 25 HSPU to 2 ab mats: 4:06ish.
Cal you are a beast.
Come on guys!! There are some good captions here, but you all can do much better.
I think it’s only fair that Nick and I get to decide who captures our Bro-mance the best with their caption. Winner to be announced tomorrow!!
Hey, I just met you,
And this is crazy,
But I have chalk on my backside,
So wipe me maybe.
“Brian you are going to feel two sensations – the first is going to tickle, the second, not so much”
Hahahaahah!
Brian enjoys his pre-PVC coconut oil lube massage
This isn’t getting old…

WOD: 3+20 Rx, 30″ box, box jumps ended up being much harder than I anticipated
“What happens in the box…”
