We try very hard as coaches to help you make training decisions day to day that are appropriate for the state you come to us in.  Rather than focusing too hard on what we’ve done in the past, looking at where we are now can help us make the most consistent progress safely.

Our EMOM strength work today can be looked at as skill and prep work for the power cleans in the WOD.  Whether or not you have or can clean more weight than what you work up to in the EMOM, stay with what you max out with in the strength as you transition to the WOD.  This will give you the right stimulus that will be challenging but that won’t take away from the overall pace of the workout.

STR:

EMOM 12

3 hang power cleans

WOD:

60 Overhead Lunge Steps (20#/14# medball)
45 Ball slams
30 Pullups
15 Burpess
1 Power Clean EMOM @ max weight from strength EMOM
