Drilling efficiently

We have a long-ish AMRAP to work through today that will take plenty out of us (and give us lots of practice running).  We’ll want to be sure to approach our clean pulls as an opportunity to get our first pull nice and crisp under a decent load – not as a chance to move the heaviest weight we can.  The usefulness of this movement is not just for our cleans, however.  It will be a great opportunity to train our bodies to send energy from our legs through our midline and into the rest of our bodies.  This concept can be used in all of the movements in the AMRAP (dips included, if you kip them).  So get some weight on the bar, but use it to enhance and. teach your body this concept rather than just for the sake of the number attached to it

STR:

Clean pulls

3-3-3-3-3

WOD:

AMRAP 15
Run 200m
10 Box Jumps
