Feeling it out

Our rep schemes for strength are generally pretty specific.  While we leave room to warm up, the working sets are structured deliberately.  For today’s deadlifts, we’ll be working our way up to a heavy single.  While your coach will help you work your way up to yoru max for the day, we’ll be working on building a feel for how much to climb and how many reps to do to prepare ourselves to get some heavy weight on the bar and lift it well without fatiguing ourselves too much before our max attempt.  Do climb up incrementally, not increasing more than your previous increase.  The reps should start high and work their way down to singles by the time we get to our last few sets.

STR:

deadlift

20 minutes to establish a heavy single

WOD:

6-5-4-3-2-1 Wall climb
12-10-8-6-4-2 Pistols
