We do a lot of leg work.  It’s important, and it’s really useful to stimulate them with heavy loads.  This often manifests as heavy squats and deadlifts, which are great.  But these movements don’t challenge us unilaterally.  And we are build do be able to do things with one leg at a time (like say, walking or running).  So how do we train strength in this realm?  Enter the cossack squat.  Here’s a great way to get into our hips in some different angles than we might be used to.  And a wonderful way to work out some imbalances we might have.
