Friday girl WOD!
Nancy is one of our favorite girl WODs for a lot of reasons (click on the link to see all the reasons we’ve loved Nancy in the past…) and we figured we might as well sneak her in one last time before we can’t count on going outside. The TGUs will be a great way to loosen up and mobilize our joints while engaging our shoulder stability to prep us for those pesky overhead squats. In fact, if we think about what those overhead squats are going to feel like while we do our turkish get ups, we might even get a little more use out of an already great movement. So come on in and let’s get a run in while the getting is good.

This Sunday, September 28 at 11 am there will be a work party for urban agriculture. Everyone is welcome to join and help, this can be a great way to get started if you have been interested in getting involved in the gardens and chickens but didn’t know how.

My first Nancy Rx!
For the first 2 years of my cf career an Rx nancy seemed either impossible or really really foolish at the very least. Over this summer that whole OHS position has become what I need it to be in terms of mobility and then strength. My 2 changes that preceded this were widening my squat stance and switch to a stand up desk. Definitely pleased with this so I thought I would share!
