Nancy is a beautiful workout for a number of reasons, but one of the aspects that I like the most is how it challenges us to run well yet still have superb mobility.  Running in general can be a great discipline to take on, but one thing I see time and time again with those who run a lot is a general lack of variety in their daily movement which leads to hips and legs that are not fully functional.  Or in english, those who run a lot often don’t have great hip mobility.  This is certainly not always the case, but happens more than enough to be noteworthy.  So what Nancy does is say “Hey, if you want to do well, you have to be a great runner.  But you also have to have really good hip mobility.  You know, for those overhead squats.”

So here she is.  You might not be a huge fan of her’s, but she only wants to best for you.  So load up some weight and let’s get after it!

    Nancy: 16:59RX felt sluggish the run was the most challenging. Tried to save my legs for the OHS.

    Side Note: I think I sprained my wrist doing those parallettes with dips after class. All that OH left my wrist weak and all of a sudden heard a loud crack. In hindsight should of stretched my wrist. FML Fuck.
