We’ve programmed DT quite a few times over the years, so maybe you’ve done it here before. If you haven’t then this is your chance! It’s a classic CrossFit Hero WOD that is a personal favorite, and a bit of a personal mountain to climb. Doing DT as RXd was a goal of mine from the first time it was published, all the way back in early 2009. It’s good to have a big goal like that… something to work towards. At the time there was no way I could do it – but after years of hard work, I finally got there.

Today is a good day to throw yourself at the metal here and see what you’ve got. But as you do, keep in mind that this can all go pear-shaped in a real hurry if you pick a weight heavier than you can handle.

Your coaches will help you pick a weight to work with today, and we want you to try hard. But if we stop you because the workout gets the better of you today, don’t take it badly. Just take it as a sign that you’ve still got a lot of work ahead of you before you’re ready to do DT at that weight. This is a real test of your strength and stamina, but if you don’t get there today it’s not a failure – just a roadmap to where you want to go.

The intended time domain for this as a “training WOD” is around 9-12 minutes.

    WOD: 9:09 @ 95#
    I did it before on November 2018 at 95# 8:40, so pretty much the same. Maybe I could have gone a tad heavier but I felt that 105# might take too long.
