HBBS: 205# for all 5 sets. I had originally wanted to squat 225# across (which I know I’m capable of), but not squatting for 2 weeks really affected me. As I was warming up, every weight felt heavier than it should have…
WOD: 18 rds + 7 reps (Rx). First time doing Cindy and she was phenomenal. Pull ups were unbroken. Push ups became broken around round 7-8. Hopefully I can bang out at least 20 rds next time I see her.

105#HBBS, which is what I did last time (but last time was sets of 3). I think my form is metamorphosing these days, and so I’m never really sure what’s going on. My last set felt amazing, but aside from placing the bar above my traps (instead of on/against), I’m not sure what was different. I think I might start making people video me so I can see what I look like each time.
I love Cindy (she’s less than 1/2 of my May-Murph time, so I knew it would feel easy because pacing is as simple as keeping moving). Turns out that I even love Cindy when I have to modify her. Thick green band for pullups, and abmat-situps instead of pushups; I managed to eek out an even 16 rounds.
I could get used to this vacation-week-noon-class-thing… 🙂

Cindy: 8 & 2 Rx – first time Rxing a WOD with pull ups in it. Slow and strict – gotta learn that kip!
HBBS: 245#, 5# less than last week. Didn’t have a ton of energy today.
Cindy: 13+28 Rx. Compare to 16+12 on Aug 13, so… yeah. I’m convinced I perform better in the summer. I need to track down what differed then to see what I can change to get back there.
