A big part of the challenge of Christine is the continual hammering on your posterior chain as you move from one movement to the next. This is a great training stimulus because weĀ should be engaging our posterior chains in a high percentage of our daily activities, but often don’t. Ā And this WOD is purposely not super heavy or high, so while you might be tempted to “Rx+”, theĀ  realĀ challenge is to go unbroken on all of your movements, not take breaks as your transition and to really push the pace, especially with the row. Ā Even if you’ve Rx+ed this workout before, I implore you to not take it beyond the intended Rx for a truly great experience.

    Volume Training: 3 ring dips OTM, switched to 2 at the 12 minute mark.

    Christine: 11:58 rx @ 138#. 27 seconds slower than last time. I had mixed feelings about doing this since I’m pretty sure I’m doing it again later this week, so my head wasn’t in the game. I broke up my first set of deadlifts ’cause I was winded from the row, then stopped to tie my shoe, then stopped again to get a drink of water… it was pretty much a shit show.

    VT: 3 pushups to 20″ box for the first ten minutes, 4s and 3s for the next.

    Christine: 15:41, almost thirty seconds slower than last time.

    There’s some inconsistency as to what the “RX” box height is. Some sites say 24″/20″ and others 20″. We must find Christine and ask her!

    VT: 5 push ups/minute. I should switch to box dips or push ups to rings

    Christine: 12:03 Rx (155#). My previous time from February was 10:53 at 135#, so I feel like I was probably dogging it a bit in the heat today.

    Will make up VT today with ring dips – had to jet last night to watch the Bruins make me sad..
