Test Day #2
Day 2 our our new cycle brings us more testing! We’ll be checking in with our strict press today as well as our 2k row.
Testing your strict press can be tricky. On one hand, if we jump up too fast, we might overshoot our max and then not actually be able to hit it if we then try to work back down. On the other hand, if we take too long to find it, we might sap our strength before we get close to our true max. 12-15 minutes should get us there not too fast or slow.
The 2k row is all mental – it’s just you and the rower. Try to stay in that uncomfortable place most of this race, giving yourself short but timed reprieves from digging deep into it.
