Getting out there

Nick | 05/04/2020 | 3

Spring might finally be here (we might have even skipped to summer for a couple days there) so we’re going long and (hopefully) getting outside.

25 minutes will be plenty of time to settle in and find a rhythm with this. As always, get creative to get it done. It’s much better to get something done than to stress about doing this precisely!

WOD:

AMRAP 25
200m run
25 Kettlebell swings
50 alternating lunges (bonus points if you do them in place and jump from side to side)

*if you don’t have a 200m course, run :30 out and :30 in <or> 100 DU <or> 200 single unders <or> 1 minute jumping jacks or high knees

**swing whatever load you can find to swing like a kettlebell

    7 Rounds
    200m run
    50# dumbbell for my KBS
I did 20 jumping lunges out of the 50 for each round.
    That was a gasser!

    5+245
200m run (turns out my house to the end of the street and back is exactly that)
    ~45# WJS (water jug swings)
50 alternating lunges (some jumping when I felt spunky, most not)
