Round and Round

Hello friends!

First I want to second, third, forth and fifth Coach Michael’s sentiment about not getting these blogs out and how much we miss you guys. We do!

And I’m sure many of you feel like I do. The days bleed into one another, work/life balance isn’t really a thing, and if you have to see one more tiny face on Zoom, Teams or Skype you might actually scream. Or maybe it’s just me.

And if we were together betweem 5:30am and 8:30am I’d tell you terrible stories about how I was peer pressured into turning on my camera by senior management on a day I was in pigtails or about the time a coworker asked me if I was on a treadmill because I’m ALWAYS in a sports bra and tank top or about the many times I’ve heard “nice closet office Nelly” or the time more than one person on a call complimented my ‘whiskey and weights’ tank or the time I was asked exactly how many sequin dresses I own and you guys would be so sweet and pretend you found it funny. But alas, here we are and I miss you guys and your kind pretending you like my stories.

BUT we’re keeping at this fitness thing as best as we can!! Gotta keep moving. So today it’s only 10 rounds (Round and round, With love we’ll find a way just give it time, Round and round, What comes around goes around). Wait – where was I?

Warm up for this one with some up/down dogs – remember yoga with Melinda is coming back on Thursdays at noon! Get a tricep stretch (60 sec each side) and calf stretch in and get after it.

The dips can be done off a chair or a bench or a step – get creative. Don’t worry about not having an abmat! And if you don’t have a jump rope penguin taps will totally get your heart rate up. And in case you’ve forgotten what a penguin tap is: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H-m3t33fM_I

10 Rounds
10 situps
10 dips
25 dubs or penguin taps

Look forward to hearing how it goes!!
