Good Luck Tough Mudders!
This weekend a few of our friends here at CFSV are competing in the Tough Mudder. Growing in popularity, the Tough Mudder is a 10-12 mile obstacle course, all terrain ball buster of a challenge. It’s take a remarkable amount of confidence to even enter one of these. Some people you may talk to have already accomplished said feat, not once, but twice! I know Mad Mike Kivikoski will be entering the gauntlet for a third time!
One person in particular I would like to note is Erin Murphy. I remember the first day she came to CrossFit Somerville and told me, verbatim, “I have this Tough Mudder race in July and I want to kick ass!”

Ever since you’ve come here you’ve been a pleasure to have in class and your attitude is a testament to the progress you’ve made here. Stay headfast and push forward through every obstacle and know you are prepared.
To everyone else enduring this endeavor, same goes for you. You are prepared. Know you are. 
We’re going to crush this mountain. Erin, Niki and the rest of CF Somerville, I’ll see you in electricshock therapy 🙂

This post is just so cool an exactly the reason why I’m gonna be back in the gym tomorrow even though I only initially planned on using crossfit as Mudder training. It was a total blast and I definitely kicked some ass and I can’t wait to do another. You all are the best! Ready to get this beat-up bod back to work!
