wod: 7+8 rx. no real reason this couldn’t have been at least 8, just spent way too much time looking at the bar thinking “damn, that’s getting heavy”
Press: 75# This was super frustrating as I can usually put 30-40 more pounds overhead on a strict press. This morning, nothing over 75 would budge for more than 1. Oh well.
WOD: 7+12 @ 225#. Happy with that scale, a little frustrated being 3 reps short of that 8th round.
Press: 65# and 2×70# happened twice. maybe i did too much celebrating a few weeks ago when i got 75# over my head. meh.
WOD: 8+2 at 135#. I’m pretty sure before one of the sets of deadlifts I just stood there totally blanked out, definitely for too long. I thought I was much further ahead of James than where I ended.
also totally unrelated – one of my co workers is running the reach the beach relay on 9/15 and had a teammate drop out last minute. the designated legs are 6 miles, 4 miles and 4 miles. if anyone is interested, email me (sheedy.caroline@gmail.com) to let me know and i can get you in contact with her.
