REMINDER: If you cannot make it to class please do your best to cancel yourself out of the class or worst case, email me so I can take you out on my end. Our community is growing and we need to be thinking of other people so that they may have the opportunity to take a space you may not be able to make. Set alarms, etc. Do what you have to do but set the fire and come in!

    Alrighty we have a solid little crew going to see Perestroika! cabaret show this (Monday) evening at Jacques. I am going to attempt to reserve us a table because I heard it fills up.     WOD: 6+8. Lost count around round 4-5. I may have done 7+8, but I went with the lower number just in case. First experience with HSPU, and surely I need to practice! (Taking KP’s homework advice!). So modified with 24″ box pushups. 55# thrusters. T2B were complete. 145# deadlift. ^_^ Great 5:30 am class. Still, I am beside myself that I woke up so early.

    million-dollar sunrise this AM. totally worth suffering through the soggiest weekend in history for that.

    DL 4×4: 195#
    WOD: 6x + 7 @ 55#, bedraggled air-HSPU over ab mat, about 0.750 t2b (success in single kips).

    DL: 205#. Working on form.
    WOD: 5+17 (or more frustratingly 6-1) @ blue-banded HSPUs and 75# thrusters. Thrusters are less bad now that I realize they are basically “squat push press”, but I still hate them.

    DL: 345#
    WOD: 5 rounds and change. Shoulders reached failure far too early with the HSPU and I didn’t have an appropriate scale set up, so I switched to 3x regular pushups after a couple of rounds. Awful.

    DL 143# I had a couple more rounds to go but no time left
    WOD 4 and 3 at 65# with a red band contraption around the bar once. Shoulder intensity to the max

    DL: 275#

    WOD: 4 even. I thought thrusters were going to be my rate limiting factor, but as it turns out HSPU were what gave me the most trouble. Got through the first 2 rounds okay, but couldn’t get HSPU reps after that. Need to work on that.
