May the odds ever be in your favor
Let me start by saying that I am not the strongest. I am not the quickest or fastest, nor the fittest (that title goes to our man Rich Froning). However; I am pretty fast, and pretty strong. Fitness to me, is not always about the ends, but rather the means to get there. I still have a long way to go, but I am good at what I do because I seize the opportunities to help put me in the best position possible.
I tend to get asked this question a lot, “Yosh, why on earth do you spend so much $$$ on food??” Let me tell you something right now…it’s about priorities, and if you’re more a business-minded individual, then think return on investment.
My number 1 priority is health and wellness. I know that when my body and mind work well, other things work well. And let me tell ya, I’d gladly pay through the roof for that. People often neglect how important taking care of your body is. And much of the catalyst comes from food. Every single cell in our body is directly impacted and powered by the food we eat. And the better we treat that, the better other things become. Eat crap and you’ll feel and perform like crap. Eat clean and make smarter choices, your body will feel like a palace. It’s unreal what you can accomplish when your body starts working better for itself.
The best chance we can give ourselves at a long and prosperous life, is to be the fittest and healthiest we can. There is absolutely nothing wrong with banking on yourself, or making YOU your number 1 investment. You don’t have to wish for it, you can make it happen all on your own. Make the odds favor you every time.
