Sunday February 10th, the Atlantic State Open Weightlifting Championship is going down at North Shore CrossFit, located in Danvers, Ma. Ill be competing in the 69kg weight class that day. Come up and watch the action! It’s also a great opportunity to watch some awesome athletes in the Snatch and Clean and Jerk!

We were talking about basic strength standards in class this morning, because I think my squats are weaker than my other lifts. Here’s the link I said I’d post. Tried to go for a new 1RM back squat today since I missed it on Friday. Hit a PR at 285#, and failed at 295#. Felt like I should have been able to get that and a little more, maybe if not for still being a little hungover. Oh well. Still a PR.
