The Climb for Hope is a race up 46 flights of stairs located at 1 International Place and takes place on April 28th. This stairclimb raises money for Wediko Children’s Services, who provide mental health services for children in the Boston area. WOD: 15:09 @40#. I see “3 rounds,” I figure, no problem!! Definitely, definitely felt this, though. Mandy and CFSV kicked my butt this morning – what can I say, got my money’s worth. 🙂

Ok. Today was fucking awesome. Yosh, just a huge heartfelt thank you. I expected to stay at 35# today and work in form. Squat snatch means landing in an OHS. most of you know how much trouble I have with OHS. Well today the form clicked. Yosh fixed my grip. Wider, but not TOO wide. My New Balances may have also helped with their slight incline (much more “oly-like”) I set my grip up each time in the crease of my hips like Mandy once taught me and fixed my stance as Yosh instructed … so i squat snatch the bar and then all of a sudden I hear Yosh saying “beautiful” – I assumed he was talking to someone else but then I realized it was me and that the move felt right. So I kept going!! I kept going up to 70# ….!!! I kept losing 70# right at the top until that very last one with one last tip from Yosh: “you’re keeping your shoulders tight but keep your abs tight too!” Yosh: so so so many thanks you really don’t know how much this means to me. I LANDED IN A FUCKING 70# OHS AHHHHHHHHH!!
Then I rx’d the WOD in 12:13 and puked. Fun!
