Olivia Peters is trying to organize a team to represent CrossFit Somerville at the Climb for Hope! The Climb for Hope is a race up 46 flights of stairs located at 1 International Place and takes place on April 28th. This stairclimb raises money for Wediko Children’s Services, who provide mental health services for children in the Boston area.     HBBS: 175# Still recovering from 300 wall balls in two days.

    WOD: Completed at 115#

    My hang cleans are pretty ugly. Always something to work on. Great job 5:30am!

    HBBS: 20kg. No joke. I spent some time with that torturous green device thing to try to knead out my quads and got a couple sets in with the bar. GETTING HUGE.

    WOD: rocked out at 75#. probably could’ve gone 95# but i can’t quite drop under the bar at all. i want my legs back.

    I HATE 13.3.

    WOD: 65#
    I have been feeling stuck and not very fit, so I was excited for today’s technique work, because I thought I could PR. I did! Good for the ego. I also made lots of tough chick grunty noises during the HPC portion of the WOD, so clearly I am a bad ass. Great work 5:30!!

    thanks mandy for tips on getting myself UNDER the bar. will try to do more squat cleans to practice getting low.

    one-handed KB snatches @ 1.5pd, and one-handed burpees. My right arm is gonna be JACKED.

    Has anyone seen today’s mainsite Hero WOD, “Cameron”? It includes triple unders and wall balls 2-for-1…..yep, you heard that right. Look it up. It seems that CrossFit is moving forward. AND I JUST RECENTLY GOT DOUBLE UNDERS TOO!!!

    HBBS: 150# 5RM , 155# 4RM … was hoping to turn my 3RM into a 5RM but my quads are not my friends anymore. I punished them with the PVC pipe yesterday so hopefully we make up soon.

    WOD: 65# 8 rounds done around 30 seconds each time so perhaps I should have tried 75#.
