WOD: Fran 8:03 (65# for 21, 55# for rest/Green & Red)
Such a tough group, way to fight 6:30!
Thank Kelly for organizing and the crew who participated in the 40-day no bread challenge. I definitely grew stronger both mentally and physically, became more in tune with how my body reacts with certain foods (esp gluten) and what food to fuel it for better performance. It is awesome to be surrounded by such positive and supportive group. <3 you guys!
This was one rough reintroduction after a 4 day hiatus! 135# C&J, 15:44 w/a 1.5PD KB, 20# ball, blue and red band. One of those that looks great when you read it, but steps on you when you’re in the thick of it. Way to get after it 5:30!
C&J (isn’t that a chinatown bus line?): 100#
i’m kinda sad i missed friday’s WOD… kinda
WOD: 13:17 @ 1pd, blue band, 10#
trying to get in the mode of smooth transitioning for wall balls. momentum-wise, it does make things way more efficient
C&J: 85# (cuz I clocked myself in the chin with 90# and it was all over then)
WOD: 15:03 with lightest kb (should go heavier next time), pullups with 2 green bands, then 1 green and 2 blue when KP caught on :), and 14# wallballs.
I was excited about those pullups feeling stronger, and finally stringing some wallbals together more efficiently. Progress! Also, great form and fight from the whole 7:30 crew!
That is one handsome crew.
That was yucky.
255# clean and jerk, PR – raw without straps.
15:53 – green bands for the pull-ups, 2P and 30# ball
This one was tough. Great job to a big 5:30 class
Hell yeah!
CJ: 75#

Congrats on finishing the challenge Donne! Did you see any difference in your Fran time??
She won’t admit it, but I’m pretty sure it was close to 3 FREAKIN MINUTES.

no one hates wall balls more than you
I’d give her a run for her money… wall balls are the devil.
I concur.
i’m just more vocal in my discomfort, that’s all π
C&J: 150#, pr. I’m pretty happy with that number… and looking forward to putting a little more weight on the bar next time.
Wod: 11:19rx. That was not a fun workout, but I saw a lot of grit and determination from our 5:30am crew! Nice work!
Dang, those are some impressive C&Js up there!

The Mama Bear sees all. Don’t ever forget that. π
Eyes in the back of her head! And the magical ability to switch things like “easy” bands when our backs are turned :D.
Ooh, she’s pulled that trick on me before too Lydia! Gotta watch that KP girl…
