Congratulations to the CrossFit Somerville Flag Football Team! Y’all finished up the season last week by winning the Silver division. This is a significantly better finish than our softball team, but I feel confident that we can get after it again before the summer is over.
Thanks to Olivia for making these teams happen! Do you have a social sporting event or just a group outing you’d like to see happen? Let me know! Let’s get out and have some fun together while the sun is shining and the weather is awesome.

SDL = 185# a PR by 20# since January when we last did these.
I re-did the WOD from last wed with the strict pulls ups and Kb swings. I used a red band this time. I effed this up last week by not using a band and then moving into jumping pull ups when I had maxed out. I think red-banding and being sure to pull up from a dead hang each time was much more challenging. That being said I PR’d on this workout by 6 seconds! 11:38 🙂
Wodding shirtless is so liberating. It is something I would NEVER have done a year ago.

I sososo didn’t want to show up tonight – the heat, the Monday, the five days since my last class, the recovery from my triathlon. But 7pm pulled through and knocked out a good workout, inspiring me to step it up. Great work, 7pm and thanks, all!
