Last time we did this the city was on lockdown, so a lot of you missed out on the fun. We’re heading into another great CrossFit benchmark today that should help us get focused on our explosiveness and our ability to stay upright throughout this range of motion. Core bracing, ainchahurd?

Strength:
Front Squat 5-5-5

WOD:
“Jackie”
1000m Row
50 Thrusters (45#)
30 Pull-ups

I’ll see you in the morning, my dears…

Front squats: 195# for 5, I had 215# but then lost my grip and started to lose the bar, I need to work on keeping my elbows up and the bar on my shoulders.

Jackie is fun! 8:57 Rx. This was my first time doing it (damn bombers), and KP’s advice to keep a steady pace and not burn out early was good. I probably could have gone a little faster, next time!

this week has been a great experiment in not peeking at my workout notebook and just lifting what i can lift, then seeing how i compared to the past. two PRs!

    front sq: 155# (5rep PR)

jackie: 10:59 @ 35# bar, blue band. if sweat were dollars, i’d still be very sweaty.

FS 135# 3RM tried 145# and failed on rep 2. My form was solid according to Nick and Maralene. Ain’t no rep better than a GOOD rep!

WOD 13:06 Rx …. I did Jackie exactly 2 months ago today. My time was 15:46. Improvement rocks!

FS: 185# went light today, knee has been acting funky.

WOD: 10:46 RX. Last time me and jackie went out it was 11+ minutes.

    Awsome to see Maralene today!
