nycSeptember 11th means something different to everyone.  Whatever it means to you, today we have a nice long workout to chip away at with a team mate that will give you time to reflect on it.  Work hard and we’ll get through it together.

See you on the other side.

WOD: Team Holleyman

30 rounds (alternating rounds with your teammate)

5 Wallballs
3 Handstand push ups
1 Power Clean

*Power cleans should be heavy, but not maximal.  Athletes should choose a weight around 80-85% of their 1rm, depending on their comfort with the lift.

WOD: 26:46 with 30# ball, green/blue band backpack, and 185#. Teamed up with Jesse. Latino Heat in da house!

  2. Olivia says:

WOD: 18:09 with a great partner, Mr. Dan Nolan. 14#/1 abmat HSPUs (3 rounds at rx)/120#. I think Dan was at 20#/inverted box PUs/1,000,000# cleans.

This was a good, tough workout. My arms were burning after just ATTEMPTING to rx this and those cleans were no joke!

    Nice work 5:30!

WOD: 15:32 with the badass Tricia, partner awesomesauce. 14# WB, 24″? box pushups, and cleans of 65# for me and something like 800# for Tricia.

Great work from everybody in the sweaty 7:30!

This was a hot one. Getting through it was the motive. Katie was a great WOD partner.

    We finished in 19:42

I was tired and almost cut out a few # here or there but at the last minute I decided to do what I knew I could: 14# med ball, HSPU strict to 1 ab mat, 85# Power cleans

I had a great time working through this WOD with you, Renee. I think we held a decent pace, especially given how damn hot it was. And we met or goal of getting through it with a consistent pace. i was happy with my scaling (10# med ball, elevated push ups on bench, 45# power cleans). Went home sufficiently exhausted and sweaty. All in all, great workout.
