Tommy V
There are many elements that come together to produce a successful rope climb. Breaking down each piece can be very helpful, and we’ll spend some time today doing just that. Finding ways to explore the ropes without the intent of getting to the top can also be very helpful, and this we will do as well. Just as spending more time hanging get our bodies ready for the myriad of things we do with a bar, spending time engaging the rope will not only make climbing it easier, it can make it much more comfortable.

Interesting coaching tip from Nick after about doing slower and move deliberate movements on the rope climb, instead of starting with a big jump and powering up. I spent a lot of time sucking wind between reps here, wonder if I would have been faster this way.
HBBS: 105# across for 5 sets of 5
4 rounds, 400m run, 50 air squats: 16:41
I’m modifying but 7:30am looked great on those ropes!
