Get comfortable
We know squatting is good for us. Â It comes up a lot here, and you can often tell a CrossFitter by their comfort and stability in the bottom of a squat. Â Overhead squat are particularly taxing on our mobility and stability in the way they translate into being able to hold good position. Â Getting more comfortable with this will be the goal today. Â We’ll be hitting doubles for our overhead squats with the added bonus of a three second pause at the bottom of both. Â This is generally harder at first than just moving through the bottom position, so take your time and don’t get frustrated by the weight. Â If we get more used to being there, our overhead squat ability will skyrocket.
