Did you ever play dizzybat as a kid? Â the game where you put a baseball bat on its end and spin around it a bunch of times before standing and either running or trying to hit a ball? Â Similar idea here, though hopefully a little less dizzy. Â We’ll start each round with a few heavy deadlifts to light up our backside, followed immediately by cartwheels (or an appropriate scale) across the floor. Â We’ll finish each round with box jumps. Â You might be dizzy at this point. Â This is part of the fun. Â While it might seem a bit daunting to jump up on an object while we’re dizzy, a big part of the challenge here is mustering up the focus to keep moving with precision at this point of the WOD. Â You’ll get a half minute to rest in between rounds and settle, so get into those jumps as quickly as smoothly as you can.
