Wear them long socks!
We’re climbing ropes today! If you expect to use your legs (which is generally recommended), you’ll want to wear some protection today for them. Long socks, long pants or some combination of the two is the way to go. Not only do we want to cover our shins, but covering our inner thighs is a good idea too. This is not the day for the shortest of shorts…
