Heavy volume
With a focus on heavy lifting this cycle, we’ve got some straight up work today. Â High volume of heavy deadlifts. Â While these aren’t sets across like last week, all of our working sets should be heavy. Â That set at 135# as you start piling on the 45’s doesn’t count.
Think of your working sets as starting around 70% of your max for the day. Â Six sets at and above this weight will do you well.

Come along and bring your friends for a Charity WOD this Sunday, Oct 23, at 10 am to benefit Community Cooks. CFSV partners with Community Cooks every month to provide a nutritious meal to the Ruby Rogers Center in Union Square. Suggested donation is $25. Please sign up on eventbrite… but if you just show up, we’ll get it figured out anyway. 🙂 Workout will be appropriate for ALL levels, so beginners are welcome and it can be a fun way to give a friend an intro to the special community we have here.
