Today we have plenty of chances to practice putting a weight overhead. For our strength portion, we’ll focus on the jerk. This can be the most efficient way to get weight overhead. For the workout, we’ll take the same idea but open up the range of options. We’ll also be taking the barbell from the floor.

The weight for the shoulder to overhead part of the workout should be light enough to clean the bar and load the bar on your back for back squats. Add in some burpees and you have a solid workout.

10 Shoulder to overhead (95/65)
10 back squats (95/65)
10 burpees

    STR: 145# – Wristy!
    WOD: 4+3 with 1 round at 85 then JT put 10 more # 🙂

    Squats felt great though. Haven’t had a workout with squats in a while!
