Snatches two ways
Today, we’ll be using two different pieces of equipment to snatch. For the strength portion of class we’ll use a barbell and for the workout we’ll snatch with a plate.
Plate snatching is similar to but less technical than using a barbell. This means you’ll get a chance to apply what you learned in the beginning of class to the workout. The movements are similar in principle but less technical so you can dig in and move fast.
Strength:
2 Power snatches + 1 Overhead squat
WOD:
AMRAP 10
10 Plate snatch
25′ Plate overhead walking lunge
25’Plate push
Str: worked up to 80#
WoD: 4+30ish @ 45# plate
Kinda quiet this morning for the 5:30 AM class for some reason….
STR: 55#. The drill on the wall with the band was very helpful.
WOD: 4+55 @ 35#
