Breathing under tension

Have you ever tried to do a strict pull up after sprinting around the block? Or doing a heavy deadlift after a ton of burpees? It’s a challenge for the best of us and a great way to learn how to breathe and brace while under duress. This is a common structure for CrossFit workouts.

The workout we’ve programmed for you is designed to create this feeling of breathing hard and trying to brace for a strict movement. The double unders and burpee box overs will get you revved up and then you’ll have a chance to strict pull ups!

It’s an opportunity to work on your strict pulling and conditioning all at the same time! Come and join us!

Skill:
Handstand push up/ handstand walk

WOD:
5 Rounds
50 Double unders
10 Burpee box overs
5 Strict pull ups
