Chased by the clock
We’re hitting an EMOM today that starts with a cardio blast, transitions to shoulder strength and finishes with some higher skill cardio. The A minutes will be pretty full with rowing – you won’t have much time to transition. Luckily, we only have 8 reps in the B minutes, though they will be a bit slower and strengthy. Make sure you scale appropriately to allow you prep time to get into the C minutes where you’ll do as many double unders as you can. One way or the other, you’ll want to cut them off with enough time to get back to your rower and start up right at the top of the next minute. Don’t let the clock catch you on this one!
WOD:
EMOM 18
A) 12/10 cal row
B) 8 ring dips
C) ME double unders
*score is total # of DU
WoD: 294 DUs; blue-banded ring dips. Paced out the row mostly for a recovery, as the DUs were exhausting.
WoD: 399 Rx
WOD: 72 DUs; for most rounds I did 10 cals and 5-6 strict dips (I’m still learning the technique of kipping dips)
