Fun With KBs Pt 2
Totally different from last week, I promise.
This one is going to leave your shoulders sore in a good way. Holding a strong front rack requires a lot of activation on the front side of your shoulder, and we’ll be needing that for both the strength and the WOD portion of today’s classes. In addition, this is going to require a lot of midline engagement (as always, let’s face it) and so we’ll make sure to hit that in the warmup as well.
Strength: Front Squats 5-5-5
WOD: 8 Rounds for time
8 KB C&J
8 KB OH Squats
100m KB Carry
* alternate sides each round for KB C&J etc
* scaling for KBOHS is KB Front Rack squat single side, or KB Goblet Squat if needed
Strength: 105#
WOD (we did 6 rounds): 13:xx? 16kg KB. Rainy fun. Did not hate the KB OH squats!
