Fancy + Not Fancy

For all that I’m a bit odd, in some ways I’m old school. Today’s programming sets aside lots of time for diving into one of the most technically complex barbell movements you’ll ever attempt, revealing a lot about what you can accomplish currently. The workout? Simple, basic bodyweight movements testing your mental and physical capacity to push hard for 15 minutes.

One of these things is quite fancy. The other? Not so much – but you’ll learn something about yourself today either way.

STRENGTH
Barbell Snatch x2
(no I don’t mean power snatch)

WOD:
AMRAP 15
20 Air Squats
20 Pushups
20 Situps

    Strength: 80# felt a bit awkward, but JT said it looked ok
    WOD: 5+17 to 20” box. Better than expected. We did push ups first, then air squats, sit ups.
