Tuesday 9/28/221 – Power Snatches… a lot of them.

Coach Michael | 09/27/2021 |

Today we will be focused on the Power Snatch for a high volume at a moderate weight.

For the strength portion of class, we will review the movement and it’s key points of performance, then spend some time just warming up the movement. Work on small, clean sets of 5 reps increasing the weight to something moderately challenging. Once complete, remove weight back down to the RX or 75/45 or a weight that you feel you can do sets of 5 continuously.

Once you establish your WOD weight, we will review everyone’s FAVORITE movement, the burpee. Remember, it’s a celebration of life and perseverance: Sometimes you get pushed all the way down, but do we stay there?! NO! We pop up, raise our hands and say, “Thank you; May I have another?!?!”

Remember, to get better, faster, stronger, whatever you will need to get comfortable with being uncomfortable. Here is a great opportunity to embrace it.

Now, with all that said; get in there and get after it!
