COVID update, 1/27/22
I hope you’re all doing well! The poop graph keeps getting better: we’re down now to… well, down to the same level as at the highest point of last winter’s peak, so it’s not great, but it’s improving. If this trajectory continues, I plan to reopen morning classes next week – and I’m so eager to see all your masked faces again!
We’ll continue to have the “solo WOD time” slots available as always, but I do want to give y’all a few procedure reminders to keep the gym safe for everyone:
- When you leave, please be sure to turn on the ceiling vent fans. There is one switch in the Breaker box with the lights, and one on the far wall behind the pullup rig.
- The time between “solo WOD” slots is to allow that ventilation to clear all your air out of the room; please leave on time and let the fans do their work to keep the next person safe
- If you want to join someone else for using the space together, that’s on you – but reach out in advance to ask them. Please don’t lurk outside the gym waiting for someone to show up and ask if you can join on the spot; that can feel weird and stressful, and we all have enough weirdness and stress in our lives already.
These are simple ways that you can take care of your community and keep your friends safe and feeling respected. Thanks for helping out, and we are excited to see you soon!
Cheers,
JT, Nelly, Mike, and Karina
