The Bear Complex is a pretty unforgettable experience – and a great full body workout. Today you’ll get to have that fun with a friend, and the little built in rest will help you go faster and harder than you might otherwise. Not to mention the motivation of seeing your partner haul around the iron right across from you! Let’s harness that little extra je ne sais quois and go hard… the 16 minutes will be over before you know it.
STRENGTH:
Back Squat
10-8-5-8-10
* Build to moderate set of 5 then try to hold that weight as you increase reps again. Decrease as needed.
WOD:
Partner YGIG Bear Complex
AMRAP 16
1 Power Clean (95/65)
1 Front Squat
1 push press
1 back squat
1 rack jerk
- one partner rests; one partner completes 1 REP of the complex (not 7, we aren’t psychopaths)
- if you’re both feeling spicy, scale up that weight… but we don’t want any standing-around-staring-at-the-bar time
