Single-Arm Work
This is a neat one, carrying forward a theme of escalating difficulty and complexity as the rounds progress. There’s 6 rounds of work today, but as we move through them the challenge increases while the weight stays the same (on the lunges). Likewise, the TTB and C2B get worked before combining them into their final form: the BMU.
Interestingly, instead of the usual double-DB work in lunges, today we’ll just be lugging around one DB and switching hands when we make the turnaround at 25ft. I love single-arm work like this, because it gives us more practice stabilizing an uneven load while we move. That’s a unique demand from a training perspective, but an amazingly common one when you think of your everyday functional fitness demands.
