Uncomplicating Things
Sure, the squat clean is a complicated lift. At it’s core it’s simple: just use those hips to drive the bar up to a place you can catch it. But all those little technique pieces we’ve been working on are needed to make the most out of the power those hips generate.
Today we’re going very heavy on the squat clean reps – which are inherently complicated – so we’re going to simplify things for the workout. It’s just one movement! Pullups! Just do 50 of them. (I’m sure there’s nothing sinister lurking in the fine print.)
