Do Your Bells Hang Low?
Weighted pullups can be done a lot of different ways. If you’re a DIYer, just pinch a dumbbell between your feet and get to work. If you’re tacticool, throw on your weighted vest (with a real ballistic plate, natch) and pump the Slipknot. For some reason in my mind the classic version is a weight belt with a plate or a kettlebell hanging on a chain from around the waist, but if wobbling to and fro isn’t your thing there’s plenty of other ways to go about it.
Speaking of Bells, we’ve scripted up a fun 5 rounder that will have you swinging back and forth between solo and dual KB (or DB) work. Keep it under control as you clean those weights up for thrusters – you don’t want them going over your shoulder (like a continental soldier).
