One-sided work has all kinds of relevant training applications, but it’s not something we do in the gym all that often. What can I say? CrossFit tends to build Ford Mustang-style athletes: big engines, rear wheel drive.

That’s why it’s great to lean in on the unilateral movements from time to time. Let’s develop stability and power application in the corners, not just on the straightaways. Single Leg Romanian Deadlifts followed by single-leg squats? Perfetto!
