I’m so proud of everyone’s effort and form this morning!

After y’all left, I got after this too. Not a PR, but not a bad effort. 5:08 as RXd.

I tore the finger callus off my left IV-proximal phalanx during the WOD – didn’t even notice until 4 minutes after when the endorphins started to fade. Best guess: fatigue loosened my hook grip so that during the launch off the ground the bar settled into my phalanges instead of keeping it nestled tight in my palm.

Solution, short term: alcohol, neosporin, bandaid.
Solution, long term: get stronger grip.
Plan: CVS, then more Farmer Carries.

The first time I read this (quickly and sloppily, and in a post 5:30am wod haze) I thought you’d written that you tore part of your finger off, didn’t notice for 4 minutes, and were proposing to rectify the situation with neosporin, band aids and farmer carries.

Either way, you, Sir, are a consummate badass.

6:24 rx, in your honor Officer Simmons.
This was a bit tougher than I expected, which could be the result of my eating, sleeping and hydrating deficiencies over the past 12 or so hours.

great way to cap off the week. zen mentality is right.
45# bar, really tried to get precise form, arms totally tired even just holding the bar in hang mode, the longer it took the harder it got. got some belly-button bumping happening, though! 12:22.

can’t wait to try more shoulder-stretching handstands.
