Squat Snatches are just so much fun! And aside from the joy of landing a smooth squat snatch, there’s also the benefit from a training perspective that comes from being the lift with the single greatest range of motion: ground to all the way to standing with the weight locked out overhead. If you’re looking at a straight POWER = FORCE x DISTANCE / TIME calculation, it’s tough to top the distance – and we’re gonna be moving fast to get under that bar so the denominator ain’t gonna be very big either.
