It’s close…
And to help call it out of hiding, today we’re bringing back one of my favorite WODs that we’ve done here – one that makes me think of summertime with the doors open and sweat pouring off of all of us just a few minutes into the warm up. This is a straight up couplet with a little rest to make sure we can go heavy on the kettlebells and burn straight into the row. Remember, when we have time that we have to rest, we should be sure to rest as little as possible (ideally not at all) when we don’t have to.
STR:
Snatch Balance + 2 OHS
Find max on day
At least 5 working sets
WOD: see 6/1/14
8 Rounds:
10 Cal row
10 KB Swings (2/1.5)
:30 rest
I expect all 10 of you who registered for the 5:30 am class to actually be there!!
Strength: 95lb max, failed 100 3x so I gave it a shot
WOD: 14:33, Rx
Strength: 110#
WOD: 11:47 Rx
Strength: 60# goblet squats – feeling stronger, just need to keep that uprightness with other squats.
WOD: 13:43? with 1.25 pood. I really kinda wanted to Rx this, but 1.25 pood felt Plenty challenging. And JV’s 1.5 pood kettlebell looked like an enormous anchor. But maybe next time! Cuz this was kinda fun!
Did this at work 17:17 Rx … In retrospect I guess I move pretty slowly when left to my own devices
wod: 11:40ish. no clowns this time, but I don’t think I used the Rx kb, so obviously I need to redo this.
